Notably, the Ukrainian teams are not being relocated, indicating that this is a specific withdrawal from the Russian and Belarusian economies. Of the 4000 staff that the company has, 3000 of them were based in the region directly affected by the conflict, with 1500 of them based in Ukraine and a further 1500 in Russia. While the company has offices and staff across the globe, the vast majority are based in Russia and Ukraine. It also notes that staff from these offices will be relocated to other countries. In a direct communication from Playrix - the creator of successful mobile titles such as Gardenscape - it has been announced that the company intends to close all of its offices based in Russia and Belarus. ![]()
